25th - 27th October - Woodside Beach
Our first annual Woodside Surf Fishing Competition was superb.
With over 40 registered fishos including 15 kids took to the beach for the competition.
Tough conditions with lots of weed in and some wind that kicked up in the afternoons but still some quality fish weighed in!
Those who persisted were rewarded and lots of new Surf Fishers created saw a really great weekend by all.
Thanks to everyone who registered, came down for the breakfast and BBQ lunch and joined us for the final weigh in and awards at the Woodside Hotel Saturday Night.
Hope everyone enjoyed themselves and we hope to make this an Annual Event.
Keep an eye out for some of our next Events that will be running next year!

Great weekend. Tough conditions, but persistence paid off. Managed to be two PB flathead off the surf! Thanks to the Real McCoy Fishing crew for all their hardwork over the weekend. Great to be part of the first comp. I can’t wait for next year.
Fantastic comp! Provided breakfast and lunch, huge range of merch and all the kids got a prize. Great group of people, can’t wait till the next one !
What can I say.
My first fishing comp. What a way to be introduced, tough conditions but the team was sensational to deal with. Made me feel very welcome and provided as much in depth info I could have asked for.
Thanks again guys, well done!
