Our Annual Real McCoy Fishing - Bemm River Boys Trip was back for another year and jeez it was the best one yet! Huge turnout with 31 eager competitors took to the beaches, lake, river and entrace for the Biggest Salmon, Biggest Bream and Best other Species weekend Competition.
Huge Amounts of Salmon landed this year with huge schools over at the entrance beach in the mouth and gutters. Stonkers with heaps of 60+ made for great fun on lures and surf poppers.
The bream comp was also in full swing with perfect conditions despite a rough forecast. Lots of smaller Bream keeping everyone busy but those who fished the shallows were rewarded with some 40+.
The other Species Comp also took off with multiple Tailor, Flathead, Perch and a Kingfish weighed in!
