The Team Headed to Lake Tyers for a Surf Fishing Tour and with brilliant weather had a superb few days on the entrance bar beach!
The Lake is super full and in flood so we launched our boat to get over to the bar beach which was very narrow and should open very soon!
A ripper gutter ran most of the beach with a deep hole on the left hand side.
The boys used Black and Blue surf popper rigs with pilchard to land some ripper Salmon and a few nice Tailor.
Crabs seemed to be everywhere but if you could keep your bait away for a minute big schools of Salmon with guts full of pilchards did not take long to smash the poppers.
95% of fish all took the popper with black being the superior colour for the day!
