Kicked off our school holiday Tours down at Gunnamatta with a superb winter morning. High tide around 8:30am saw an early start to the session. Haydn , Braxton and Andrew eager to land a few fish off the beach.
Slow start to the session with all rods getting a few small bites early until Andrew’s went off with a nice hit! Salmon schools had arrived and the hot bite lasted around an hour with all the boys landing some nice fish. Braxton kept busy running between rods and nearly losing one in the white water. Blue and Green Surf Poppers did the damage with the biggest Salmon going 45cm!!
The boys managed 8 keepers for a feed with a couple thrown back. Beach fished best change of the tide!

I had a wonderful day and was well looked after, and learned a lot. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and we caught a lot of decent Salmon. Top notch experience for me.
